PRIMATE ABBE VISITS LAGOS MAINLAND DIOCESES, TASKS MEMBERS ON THE GOSPEL

His Eminence, Julius Olayinka O. Abbe, the Primate of African Church, last Sunday, visited the Lagos Mainland Cathedral of the church.

Speaking during his homily titled: ‘You will be fine,’ taken from the Philippians 3:1-16 and Psalm 89, 20, 21, 22, 23, he underscored on the establishment of David because of his relationship with God. He also appreciated the church for her support last year and prayed for more contribution toward the gospel.

“As the Primate of the Church, it is part of my responsibility to seek the welfare of the church and also to appreciate them for their past supports to the the national body.

“We have received tremendous support physically, spiritually, financially and administratively. I pray you continue to do more to support the gospel.”
Speaking about the second wave of COVID-19, he said: “It has been dreadful, my appeal to Nigerians is that, they should observe the protocols that has been laid down by the government,” saying the protocols are very simple, although inconveniencing and if you take a look at the inconveniences you will find out they are worth the sacrifice compared to loosing lives. Thank God there is now the vaccines.”
