Theme: THE LIARS
Text: Jeremiah 50:36, Isaiah 44:25, Revelation 21:5-8
Memory Verse:
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death”. Revelation 21:8
Liars include people that will say God says when God didn’t say. People that will say, “Thus says the Lord… This is thus says the Lord” and the thing will not come to pass tomorrow and when you meet them, (to confirm to you that they are liars), they act in a way that is unbecoming of one who claims to be a true Christian.
You heard a voice that said tell them, “Thus saith the Lord” and then it failed to come to pass, if you are a true seed of God, you will not have confidence to operate that gift again. ‘You go ask yourself which voice dey talk to me. You will withdraw. You will not operate that gift for a long while.’
The questions that will be flowing through you are “Can God lie? No! Can God make mistake? No!” So, for those who say, “Thus says the Lord” and it doesn’t happen, do you know what it means to say God say? When God says a thing, even you –yourself– you cannot stop the word of God from coming to pass.
“Thus say the Lord in 16 days you will be in America” and 3 months don pass, you still dey here, then you meet that person, and he will say, “Well, that’s what I heard, go & pray. Na wetin I see na him I tell you.” That person is a liar, he’s a liar. Blessed be the name of the Lord, Hallelujah! And God said that all of them will have their part in the lake which, burneth with fire & brimstone. This is the second death. Brethren stop the lies! Stop lying!
WORSHIP/PRAISE GOD AND THEN TAKE THE FOLLOWING PRAYER POINTS:
1: Holy Spirit, expose to me, teach and guide me out of the web of lies I have become covered with.
2: Lord Jesus Christ, keep me away from lying spirits, teachers, pastors, and prophets.
3: Saviour of my soul, cleanse my unclean lips and cut me off from unclean association. Isaiah 6:5
