TB JOSHUA: HIS LIFE SHOULD OPEN OUR EYES TO A WORLD WHERE PEACE IS POSSIBLE – GOV. BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU

Nigeria –

Thousands have gathered worldwide to celebrate the late Founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations as he is laid to rest today, many speakers have spoke highly of him and the indelible impact he has made in the world.

In a speech delivered on behalf of the His Excellency, Babajide Sanwo-olu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, by the Commissioner of Home Affairs, Hon. Prince Anofiu Olanrewaju Elegushi, the Governor exalted the renowned Christian Leader for his phenomenal impact. He says, “there is a time and purpose for everything in Life. Prophet Joshua Temitope who we are here to honour ran a purposeful race. He was intentional about his pastoral ministry and I choose to dwell on his phenomenal impact on numerous lives across the world.”

The good deeds of the late clergy reflect the words, which Christ instructed Christians to eschew. Love, empathy etc. Gov. Sanwo-olu encouraged Christians to emulate the life of the Clergy because “his life is indeed worthy of emulation.”

Similar to the accolade many speakers and sympathisers expressed, the Governor says “his love for God and humanity made the difference. He lived with the common man and became an uncommon minister.”

He describes Prophet TB Joshua as an amiable leader, visionary prophet and a General in God’s army. He says more Christians need to act in the same manner, which glorified God because God wans us all to be selfless.

Like Apostle Paul, the Governor says, “Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua has fought the good fight and has kept the faith.”

“I urge all Christians to adopt Prophet Temitope’s spirit of dedication, love and sacrifice, which endeared him to his members and indigenes. He fulfilled destiny by living for others.

“His life should encourage us to renew our hope in Christ, our love for others and our faith in Nigeria. We must be determined to make Nigeria a pride among other nations with unity, peace and progress as our watch word.

The impact of Prophet TB Joshua in the lives of Nigerians cannot be ignored. He has fed many, provided scholarship, financed career desires and given hopes to many who had lost consciousness of the existence of hope.

“His life should open our eyes to a world where peace is possible.”
