While many in the movie industry put their film releases on hold during a time of pandemic, one director has no regrets about going against the trend.
Jon Erwin, co-director of “I Still Believe” has told Christian Headlines, he sees the irony in releasing a film about faith in the middle of trials.
He says it’s very fitting as the whole premise of the film is about still believing even when you don’t see what God is doing.
The director says life is full of things that you can’t control and things that don’t go according to plan.
The movie was released just as the spread of the coronavirus was accelerating with the major themes of faith, prayer, and sacrificial love having an impact on audiences worldwide.
Mr Erwin says they are hearing stories of people coming to faith in Christ, and Christians being encouraged in faith after watching the film.
