The General Overseer of Living Faith Ministry Bishop David Oyedepo has led Nigerians on a prayer for God to deliverer Nigeria from oppressors. During a message delivered at the just concluded Shiloh 2022, Bishop Oyedepo asked the attendees at this year’s convention to lead Nigeria in a prayer for God to send a deliverer to the nation. He says, “what Nigeria needs is a deliverer not a leader.

Shiloh is a hybrid international Christian programme attended virtually and in person. Attendance reaches a global audience of millions of people joining virtually through live streaming in the different branches of the church popularly called, Winners Chapel International in Africa and other continents of the world. It is also followed by members and non-members of the church.

Preceding the prayer, he highlighted the challenges facing the nation across all sectors and spheres.

He believes the Church is the pride of the nation Nigeria and as such the church has an important role to play in saving the nation.

He encouraged Nigerians to look critical at the abilitiy of a leader who can deliver Nigeria by turning around the cluster of instability preventing development in the nation as they go to the polls in the 2023 elections to elect a leader.

“Leading the prayer he said, “church all over the world, where ever you are lift up your voice. You love Nigeria. (say) Lord send us a deliverer and give us rest in Nigeria again.”
