Ghanaian UK-based gospel singer and BET’s Sunday Best Top Ten finalist, Niiella Dankwah Coffie known popularly as Niiella is ready to stir up a worship revival in Ghana with her upcoming event dubbed “Wildfire Worship Service” on October 17 at Agape House New Testament Church – East Legon.
Known for her passionate vocal perfection and dexterity, Niiella is also a worshipper whose soothing style and approach draws hearts into intimate worship.
The carefully and prayerfully selected team of young anointed breed of guest ministers such as Efe Grace, Luigi Maclean, Philip Adzale, Kyei Mensah, and Kofi Nkrumah is an indication of an unforgettable night of worship experience.
“The Wildfire Worship Service promises to be an experience filled with love, laughter, interaction between artist and congregation, and most importantly, the presence of God.” – She noted.
For two years Niiella has not been back to her home country to host a worship event and over this period of time has acquired a plethora of knowledge that she is believing to share with her audience through worship and communing in the presence of God.
In 2020, Ghana was blessed to have Niiella represent the country as well as Africa in BET’s Sunday Best gospel music reality show. She emerged as one of the Top 10 finalists in the contest after going through multiple rounds of in-person auditions narrowing down from 20 to the top 10. Having stood on this platform, she has learned and worked with the likes of Jonathan McReynolds, Kirk Franklin, Erica Campbell, Kelly Price, and others.
Niiella’s is a contributor to The Spirituals, a vibrant UK-based music group with a unique approach to music that extends beyond cultures. She is also very instrumental in the forming of The Santuary music project. With her vast knowledge and the positive influence from various platforms, Niiella seeks to impact others with her gift.
The versatile gospel singer is known for her songs such as ‘Obiara Nniho ft Joe Mettle’, ‘The Victory Song‘, ‘Your Grace ft Emmanuel Smith, ‘I will Praise’, and more. Niiella also brings songs to life in her session of regular covers that is consumed and appreciated by many. ‘Shades of Mercy’ is Niiella’s maiden album released in 2017 and available on all digital platforms.
